This page is dedicated to the wonderful families that have given loving homes to my puppies.
I just can't thank you enough for choosing one of my babies to be a member of your family!! It fills our hearts with joy to see you with your new puppies.
I get such a kick when a new picture arrives, thank you all for keeping in touch!
Below you will find pictures of our past puppies and new friends.
The Huffer family added little Harley to their family. They came to our home shortly before Christmas so that Harley could be a surprise. We all had such a nice visit.
Jack & the new Mrs. Thompson
Lisa,
Well it's been awhile since I have talked to you so I thought I would send you a quick note and say hello. Some big changes in mine and Jack's lives lately, I've gotten remarried and am expecting my first child in late May. So Jack's going to have to learn he won't be the center of the universe anymore. He is still up to his old tricks, chewing everything up in site, you know the same ol same ol, but he's family so what am I going to do. On the positive side he now has a side kick as my wife had a German Shepard mix so now Jack has a playmate that he loves to give alot of "hugs" to LOL.

All safe and sound! Hi Lisa, Tawny arrived and wow the pictures just can't describe how precious she is! We watched the plane land, and got her immediately at the baggage claim. The baggage handlers were delicate with her, and didn't want to give her to us because she was so cute. We took her home, I snapped a quick (kinda' scrappy) picture, and she chased the kids around the yard for an hour. After that, she took a long snooze. She's instantly become part of our family; she will have a long a happy life with us!
Tawny is Anna's Christmas present. What's funny is that just yesterday Anna's hampster died; the tiny thing was a ridiculous 2 years old, and it died on the eve of getting Tawny. Anna didn't know about Tawny, so we all got on her bed last night, as she was sad about losing "snowball", and gave her a wrapped box with a card inside and Tawny's picture. The card said "today you get to meet your new puppy". She's been exstatic since; she is such and animal person.
Jacob and Simon, as well as Deb and I, are also just melting at what a special pup we now have. We were praying for the right dog, and believe that the good Lord has answered that prayer in Tawny.
Thank you Lisa!

Lisa, Wanted to let you know that Scooter is doing great here in Florida. The boys love him, as you can tell from the photo. I have a question for you, Scooter is weighing in at 36lbs. Is it common for your other pups to grow to this weight?? The Vet says he is in great shape and he sure does keep us hopping with his constant activity, but we were just curious about his size. Thanks again for providing us with such a wonderful pup...he is absolutely a joy. Julie *Please note that Scooter's size is not the average, his Momma is a big beagle. Baron had his makeover yesterday, look how handsome he is :)
Hi Lisa! He is doing great! As you can see, he and Max are great buds....Max even cleans his ears like he's his mom...its very sweet. Like you said, he's still a bit timid but definitely coming out of himself---he's smart as a whip and very, very sweet. In 4 days, he's learned how to go/up down stairs, walk on a leash, ride in the car, take toys out of his toy box and play tug of war w/Max and.... even whines to go out! At night he sleeps on the bed with me (all night) w/ Max and Snickers (one of my cats) and he/they don't even mind each other. When I'm not looking he loves to take the TV remote, or my cell phone and make a run for it which cracks me up. On March 13, he will be going in for (as I like to put this delicately)...his "southern lobotomy" :) He brings great joy to my family and we love him to pieces!....thanks again for sharing him with us :) Lori ![]() Lisa, It is day four of Uno's new adventure in Atlanta and he seems to be coping very well. He's met a lot of new people and a lot of doggies too - I must say that I could have never expected how well he would be with not only the people (adults and children alike) but also with dogs (both small and large). He made friends with two lab mixes today at the vet, and both of them topped out over 80lbs each - but he played with them (and they with him) like they were the exact same size. Thank you again - I could not be any happier! :-) Holly Kent ![]() Morning Uno ![]() Holly & Uno Kisses Lisa, I just wanted to quickly update you on Uno... he's doing great! Quite the biter - we're working on breaking that habit - but he's extremely smart. He just went to the vet and received his third puppy shot (and I've determined that he's not very fond of them). He now weighs 9 lbs and he loves to chase other dogs (and me) in the park. His favorite park is Freedom Park because of all of the clovers and dandelions he can attack, jump through, and hide in. [And he just makes the cutest noises!] We're learning how to "walk" these days. It took us an hour and a half to get 150 yards at Piedmont Park because Uno wanted to say hi to everyone, smell every dog, and find spots on the grass that smelled neat. He's just so curious; I love it! I saw on your website that you have another two litters! Congratulations! If they're anything like Uno, they are the sweetest! Best regards, Holly |
Dear Lisa,
You should see him! He's gotten so big and he's such a handsome dog. He's gettin more spots on his body now as he gets older. Everyone who sees him loves him! He's so smart too. He's a very obedient dog and his personality hasn't changed at all. He's still very playful, loves attention, and he's very affectionate. If you say "Primo beso" (which means kiss in Spanish) he comes running and licks your face. His latest accomplishment is he can now jump up to our bed and he loves to sleep next to me on his back with his feet in the air. It's so funny, he looks like he's dead but he has this big grin on his face-- and he LOVES his belly rubbed.
Primo goes everywhere with us too-- My boyfriend works at his brother's barber shop which has a huge fenced in backyard. Weather permitting, Primo goes to work everyday and runs around out back with the other two dogs. They all get along well and his best friend is a boxer named Rocco. The two of them are like brothers and Rocco looks out for Primo, who is the trouble maker of the group. He learned from one of the other dogs how to dig and now he makes little holes all around the yard!
One more funny story-- I don't know if you have been watching the national weather channel, but this past weekend Boston and much of New England got hit by a huge snow storm... lots of snow everywhere! Primo who had never seen snow before was hopping around trying to catch the snowflakes. He looked like a little bunny rabbit. Even now with some of the snow melted he loved to kick it up with his paws and he tries to catch the pieces as they fall.
I just want to say thank you again for such a wonderful dog. Primo is more than we ever could have asked for in a puppy and he has such a special place in our hearts. You can tell that he had plenty of love and attention as a little puppy and I think that it definitely made a difference in his temperament and personality.
Take care,
Jilaine

Hey Lisa!
Chowder is great! Still crazy, hyper and running all over the place. He's so much bigger now, 14lbs! Lots of personality and attitude, haha. He's still trying to adjust to the cold which he doesn't care for too much. Here's another picture of Chowder in his winter gear. He REFUSED to go outside because of the snow and ice. It hurt his paws, so I had to buy him some boots! He also wouldn't look at me when I was trying to take the pictures, but it's cute anyway, lol.
